Ingredients

Oil ½ Cup
Fennel Seeds1 Teaspoon
Red Chili 3 Pcs
Bay Leaf 2 Pcs
Cardamom 2 Pcs
Cinnamon 2 Pcs
Onion 1 Cup
Mutton 1 KG
Salt According to Taste
Red Chili Powder 1 Teaspoon
Ginger Paste 1 Teaspoon
Garlic Paste 1 Teaspoon
Water Little Bit
Coriander powder 1 Teaspoon
Yoghurt ½ Cup
Nutmeg Powder 1 Teaspoon
Mace Powder 1 Teaspoon
Fennel Seeds Powder 1 Teaspoon
Garam Masala Powder ½ Teaspoon

INSTRUCTIONS

Wash the mutton pieces and keep them aside. Take a heavy-bottomed pan and heat some oil in it. Add the whole spices to it. Once they get aromatic, add the onions and fry until they become soft.

Add the washed mutton to the pan and sauté it. Add salt ginger and garlic paste. Then add the yoghurt and salt. Give it a mix and increase the flame. On high heat, cook the mutton until water starts separating from the curd. Close the lid, lower the flame and cook the mutton until it is soft and juicy.

Once the mutton is cooked, add turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder and stir the ingredients. Increase the heat and sauté the mutton. Keep adding a bit of ghee while roasting for a few minutes, Once the curry is brown in colour, switch off the flame and garnish it with coriander leaves. Serve hot.
