Tangra Macher Jhol/Spicy Tyangra fish Curry is an all-time favorite fish curry in any Bengali household. We are sharing Banglar Kitchen’s recipe here the way she taught me to cook these freshwater fishes at home.

Ingredients

  • 300g- Tangra fish
  • 1 cup- Onion (thinly sliced)
  • 1 medium-sized- Potato
  • 1 cup Tomato
  • 1 tbsp- Ginger paste
  • 1 tbsp- Cumin powder
  • 1 tsp- Coriander powder
  • 1 tsp- chilli powder
  • 8-9- Green chillies
  • Turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/4 cup- oil
  • 1 tsp- Fresh coriander leaves (chopped)
