Vaja Chaler Naru is one of these quintessential candies, through which a bengali anywhere in the world would swear. In simple terms, her ladoo is made with coconut and jaggery, but bangle style. Winters in the eastern part of India also signify the season of “nolen gur or jhola gur”, which is the jaggery of the date palm. Thus, a classical recipe of Gurer Narkel Naru would be essentially made of this jaggery variety. Although, if you reside in other parts of the country, you may use the regular jaggery also.

- 1 tsb sesame seeds
- 1 cup jaggery
- 2 tsb cups Sugar
